Adalen | Senior Session at The Ranch at Southfork

Some senior sessions just feel a little more magical than others. For this session, we headed out to The Ranch at Southfork for a senior session that was centered around one very special thing: Highland Cows. They’re her favorite animal, so naturally, we had to make them a part of her senior portraits. And honestly? I don’t think we could have picked a more perfect setting.

The forecast had us expecting a cloudy day, but just when we needed it most, the sun decided to come out to play. It peeked through at exactly the right time, giving us that beautiful, warm glow that makes you want to freeze a moment forever.

And then there were the babies.

Because apparently, having Highland cows at your senior session wasn’t quite magical enough, we also got to meet some of the sweetest little calves.

There was something so special about watching her interact with the animals she loves while capturing this season of her life. These weren’t just portraits with a pretty backdrop. They were photographs that felt like her surrounded by something she genuinely loves, in a place that made the whole experience.
